He soon graduated to competing in freestyle battles and made his name well-known and his lyrics memorable. R Dot’s style can be described as “when North meets South” with intricate production and hard hitting vocals that anyone can dance to. The Southside Richmond Native continues to gain notoriety. R Dot reigned as freestyle champion for 6 weeks on Xzulu's 106.5 Da Beat ” Da Cypher”. He has collaborated with numerous artists throughout the country and has performed all over the East Coast. With a growing fan base, R Dot P is drawing an average audience of 200 people per show and attracting great reviews from the media including airplay on local radio stations I Power 92. R Dot has garnered the attention of Universal Music South which has featured his music on their myspace page. R Dot stays on his lyrical grind in hopes of churning out consistent hits like Jay-Z, T.I., and Ludacris, all of which he claims to be his musical influences.
